Abstract :
Technically, standard GSM handset design has become quite mature and there are many off-the-shelf solutions available to new handset manufacturers today. Recent movement in the technology has been made to introduce dual-band telephones that can operate in both 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands. This paper describes an integrated dual-band radio transceiver chip designed for GSM applications at 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz
