Abstract
Summary form only given. Several laboratories in India are conducting or in the process of developing facilities to conduct experiments related to pinch. Two laboratories are developing drivers, diagnostics and loads for ´wire-array´ and ´magnetized target fusion´ experiments. At least four laboratories are conducting plasma focus experiments. Pinches are also being used to produce high pressures for material research. Several labs are using pinches for metal forming welding and other industrial applications. This presentation will describe current status of these experiments
