Abstract :
We have analyzed chirped RZ-DPSK modulation format for 40 Gb/s WDM transmission systems. We find that chirped RZ-DPSK improves 40 Gb/s WDM system performance by more than 2 dB as compared to regular RZ-DPSK modulation format.
