Abstract
Rock burst is one kind of the more serious natural disasters at present in the coal mine security. Practice proves combining the acoustic emission with the geological conditions is an effective scientific method. However in the acoustic emission monitoring the most basic is to locate the acoustic emission source. The establishment of an accurate model of acoustic emission location has played the key role for the positioning of the breaking point in the coal and rock. Therefore the paper presents some array models of acoustic emission. And this text mainly researches several array positioning technologies and algorithms in the acoustic emission system, and uses Matlab for programming to verify the correctness of the algorithm. By comparing, arbitrary quaternary array is good for the general array technology models.
