Abstract :
This paper optimized and reengineered the measure & payment currently existing in China. According to the theoretically analysis of the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) technology, combined with the applications of some analyzing tools such as Process/ organization matrix and Figure of Causality Analysis, this paper analyzed the prevalent measure & payment process in construction. It is found that there are some insufficiencies in the prevalent measure & payment process in construction, such as unfruitful repetitious works; long payment periods, etc. Then, following the implementation of Code of valuation with bill quantity of construction works (GB50500-2003), this paper optimized and reengineered this business process by using BPR theoretics. In addition, the paper analyzed the information bases and system buildings of the measure & payment process in construction.
