Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed a novel sensor node localization algorithm which can be efficiently applied in both 2D and 3D wireless sensor networks. Assuming that the model of sensor nodes´ transmission is an ideal circle in 2-dimension plane and an ideal sphere in 3D space respectively, the algorithm is based on the anchor nodes located between the concentric circles (or concentric spheres) formed by sensor nodes working under two proximate powers. The scheme reduces the demand of anchor nodes´ structures and is proved to be efficient by the results of simulation.
