Abstract
Instant individual feedback as a result of assessment allows for considerable improvements in both teaching and learning. Traditional methods of preparation and delivery of feedback proved to be unsatisfactory when the number of students is large. In this paper we describe application of ontology matching techniques in automatic assessment and correction in SQL. The program environment utilizing this approach is currently under development and will be used to generate and deliver immediate feedback for students.
