Abstract :
In this paper, the DVB-H antenna for the UHF band (470 ~ 862 MHz) is designed as an intenna for the potable media player (PMP) applications. The authors used 3-dimensional inverted L-shaped monopole for the wideband operation. Also, we used simple broadband matching circuit which is composed of the chip inductors and capacitors. The antenna peak gain is higher than 0.3 dBi in overall UHF bands (470 ~ 862 MHz). The size of the antenna is suitable for the commercial PMP devices.
