Abstract :
This paper presents the closed loop identification of a velocity-controlled servomechanism using a data acquisition system based on a microcontroller. The low cost and simplicity of the system enables undergraduate students to build it and to program an identification algorithm. Experiments in a laboratory prototype allow assessing the performance of the system.
