Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed a simple algorithm to increase the MC-CDMA system capacity in an indoor mobile environment. This algorithm combines an efficient blind adaptive beamforming based on maximum signal-to-interference-noise ratio (MSINR) with the power control (PC). It has low computational complexity and converges fast. Simulation results show that with the beamforming only, the SINR improves about 7.9 dB. With the power control add to it, the overall system capacity is further increased about 23%. In addition, the algorithm can assign different target BER to different users. This can further increase the overall system capacity.
