Abstract :
This paper considers the following questions: (1) the impact of the type of frequency control on the characteristics of the resonant power factor corrector (RPFC); (2) the features of RPFC with the combined regulation of the control frequency and interval when the energy is transferred to the load; (3) the influence of the high frequency current form factor on the power factor (PF); (4) the impact of the active power change on PF in the RPFC with the input capacitor; (5) and the features of the discontinuous input current modes. The characteristics of lot production devices developed on the base of the single-stage RPFC are shown
