Abstract :
Along with the more and more complex computer system, computer technology becomes more and more complex. The mistakes made by operation system, programming personnel and system analysis personnel or lack of experience can cause potential safety hazard. Computer virus, network attack, junk mail, system vulnerability, stealing information from network, false and harmful information, criminalities with network, etc. are the prominent problems of computer safety. Because of high stability and safety of linux platform as well as relatively low cost, most enterprises take it as first choice of server OS, even as the first choice of server by some governments. Therefore, the safety of linux platform becomes study focus for enterprises or governments or even intruders. But the safety mechanism of linux platform itself is extraordinarily complex; some details often need to be changed according to different environments and each software vulnerability of system must be checked at any time; if there is a little flaw in it, all efforts deserves to be vain. Therefore, this article aims to propose a set of comprehensive solution to adapt to network environment and improve the safety of system.
