Abstract :
This paper takes the plain area of middle reaches of Liaohe River as the study object, and uses the hydrodynamic software MIKE FLOOD to simulate the submergence of levee-overflowing flood. Based on the result of simulation, a flood routing display module is developed by the use of GIS development component ArcObjects and visual programming language C#. The functions of this module include flood routing display, submergence information query and flood loss statistic. In flood season, this module can provide decision-making information for flood-control and disaster-relief.
