Abstract :
The development, advantages, and management of an integrated approach to training are examined. An integrated training system (ITS) consists of a system of courseware, training devices, training personnel, and support systems, fully integrated and managed under a single contractor, which delivers guaranteed, qualified professionals in the most cost-efficient manner. An ITS is developed using the processes of systems engineering and instructional systems design, and focuses on the end product-trained staff, crewmembers, or students. The role of a training management system (TMS) in the management process is examined
