Abstract :
The authors analyze on-screen quality to improve CRT quality of the Trinitron picture tube. The screen color quality (uniformity) depends on several elements, color difference, carbon stripe width, phosphor stripe width, and relative position, among others. The authors analyze the relation between screen and CRT uniformity measurements. The data for the two sets of measurements are compared using statistical methods.<>
