Abstract
This paper describes the development of a controller for a full bridge current-fed DC-DC converter with an active clamp, fed from a fuel cell, forming part of a DC bus microgrid. Since the design of the controller requires detailed knowledge of the dynamic response of the fuel cell, experiment tests were undertaken to measure its transient load response and determine a suitable dynamic model. Digital PI compensators with anti-windup have been designed for the DC-DC converter controller and implemented in a TMS320F2812 DSP. Experimental results have validated the theoretical analysis.
