Abstract :
In this paper, a case study of shippsilas motions represented by using Stewart platform is investigated. The traditional neural network technology has been utilized to modeling the wave-induced ship motions in irregular seas on the Kaohsiung harbor in Taiwan. The training data for neural network is obtained from real case experimental measurements. The shippsilas motions simulation input signals are come from the trained network that translate into command signals of the platform. The real case of sea trial results are used to demonstrate the validity of the proposed procedure.
