Abstract :
This paper presents interactive "apparent real time" simulation applications for the teaching of powers electronics. We present a study of of the following converters: buck converter, one, two and four quadrant chopper, boost converter, single-phase inverter, flyback converter, rectifier on capacitive load,... The following simulations VI (LabVIEW virtual instrument) could be useful for power electronics converter sizing. However they are mainly intended for teaching purposes. The aim of this work is to show on a computer screen (or a classroom screen with a video projector) simulation that\´s looks like what could be seen on an oscilloscope screen with a real circuit. Compared to a traditional circuit simulator, the interest is to be able to modify any parameter or component value and to visualize the produced effect immediately? without starting a new simulation. In a course the professor can show the principle of the powers electronics converters much easier and more interesting than with a succession of traditional slides. The students can then continue the study of these topologies in the computer room or at home. These applications being put are left at their disposal on an Internet site
