Abstract :
This paper presents stabilizing controller design for a class of continuous-time T-S fuzzy systems. The main result concerns the stabilization based on fuzzy Lyapunov function approaches. Unlike the fuzzy Lyapunov function approaches reported in the literatures, the time-derivatives of membership functions do not appear in the design procedure and sufficient conditions for the solvability of the controller design problem are given in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by applying some matrix transformations together with slack variables with special structure.
