  • Abstract
    We have observed coherent terahertz emission from TTF-TCNQ films excited by femtosecond laser pulses. The waveform consists of a weak pulse and damped oscillations with a frequency of 1.4 THz. The oscillations are considered to be radiation from optically excited coherent phonons.
