Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present the speed-sensorless weighted vector control method of parallel-connected dual induction motors fed by a single inverter. In this paper, the flux linkage of dual induction motors is reoriented, and then the control expressions of weighted rotor flux linkage and weighted torque of dual motors are derived. The weight value of vector control for dual induction motors in unbalanced load is distributed automatically according to the real-time torques. The parameters of each motor, namely rotor flux, and speed were estimated using q-axis flux observers to achieve sensorless control. The validity and effectiveness of the presented method was demonstrated through simulations and experiments.
