Abstract
Asymptotical stability of a class of neutral distributed parameter systems is researched. The sufficient conditions of neutral distributed parameter systems´ asymptotical stability is given by constructing the appropriate Lyapunov functionals, employing divergence theorem and matrix inequality technologies, using linear matrix inequality approach. The derived sufficient conditions need to satisfy two linear matirx inequalities, and Its can be sovled easily by LMI toolbox in Matlab and be applied to engineering practice conveniently. Finally, A numerical example is given to illustrate the validity of the method.
