Abstract :
We have assembled and evaluated a novel electrically calibrated thermopile having an array of 1.5 mm long multiwalled carbon nanotubes as the radiation absorber. We find very low reflectance at the 390 μm laser wavelength and excellent agreement between optical and electrical measurements in the visible spectrum.
