Abstract :
This paper presents the design of a low-loss rectangular waveguide in the THz band. The confinement of energy is done by substituting the metallic walls of a rectangular waveguide by EBG structures. The resulting waveguide presents a low attenuation at THz frequencies and can be used to design devices with a quite good performance. This paper shows the design of a power divider with two different configurations.
