Abstract :
Supportability Design (SD) is the main meaning that all support issues are considered simultaneously during equipment development phase. This is the important method that achieves the purpose of easy-support and support-easy of equipment integrated support engineering. Since SD is a multi-special, reiterative, and continuants-improved process, the traditional analysis and calculation methods are difficult for conducting SA. This is one of the main reasons why the engineering application of equipment integrated support engineering is not very perfect. On the basis of feasibility analysis of applying virtual prototype to SA, this paper conceives a supportability aimed design environment centered on virtual prototype, and provides a method for Application of VP in Supportability Analysis (SA) using Equipment Design Virtual Prototype (EDVP).
