Abstract :
The method that applies queuing theory to analyze the reliability of support equipment is very common. Most of the current studies assume that the support equipment would not fail, but this assumption has great discrepancies to the actual situations. This paper makes some improvements in this respect. The failure factor of the support equipment is introduced into the model and a M/M/l/∞ repairable queuing model is established. Based on the model, the support process of a certain missile has been analyzed, and some indexes such as the average queue length, the system steady-state availability, the replacement cycle of the system have been calculated. The method takes more factors into account and is closer to actual situations.
