  • Abstract
This study is, on basis of the geochemical survey project of agriculture landing Sichuan province China, to assess the pollution levels of heavy metal in agriculture soil in Weicheng town, Mianyang city. The pollution assessments to soil heavy metals are employed by SF (single factor) and CF (comprehensive factors) pollution index analysis. According to the soil types and terrain in study site, it was divided into three sections (namely section A, B and C) for sample analytical statistics and assessing discussion. The evaluation result shows that both SF and CF values from section B are higher than that from the two other sections. The analysis also indicates: SF values of Cadmium (Cd) and Nickel (Ni) were classified as "warning polluted" level. Result also point out that the enrichment of Cd and Ni were controlled by the topographical properties, soil types and land use pattern.
