Abstract :
This project is to investigate the propagation delay of ring oscillator using 0.35 mum process technology. The investigation is done by comparing the electrical performance between two type of vehicles namely inverter and differential amplifier. Mentor graphic and Microwind 2.6a are used as investigation tool to compare the characteristics, parameters and architecture between these two vehicles. Time delay experiment is also carried out to determine timing analysis of the vehicles. In can be concluded that inverter vehicle performance are more stable compared to differential amplifier vehicle.
