Abstract :
Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN) is based on short-range wireless communication and low power consumption technologies. The network consists of heterogeneous nodes with different sensors. In order to satisfy the requirements for a wide range of data rate, we propose an adaptive data transmission scheme based on the time division multiple access (TDMA) method in this paper. The proposed scheme can flexible allocate time slots for each sensor node with a master-slave structure. The scheme has be implemented and proved by a 2.4GHz ISM wireless communication platform with multiple sensors.
