Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a 1.5 V log-domain band-pass filter based on the MOSFET square law, and fabricate it in 0.25 μm CMOS technology. The experimental results verify several merits of the proposed filter: (1) electronic tuneability, (2) high frequency operation, (3) low power supply voltage operation, (4) good linearity, and (5) low distortion. Based on the proposed design approach, a low voltage continuous-time filter can be implemented by standard digital CMOS technology and hence it is quite suitable for system-on-a-chip (SOC) application.
