Abstract
It is required to shorten HIFU treatment time to reduce the burden of patients. With this view, we considered focus switching method at two points. To optimize switching parameters, it was necessary to measure temperature field under the exposure of ultrasound. In this study, we measured it by a prototype thin-film thermocouple array. This way has advantage to minimize the influence of thermocouple to acoustic and temperature field. Then we enlarged the temperature rise area by focus switching. Therefore, we could say that focus switching has the potential to reduce HIFU treatment time.
