Abstract :
An efficient method based on the combination of isotropic transformation and cavity model, to design a conformal microstrip array on a cylindrical conducting surface, is presented here. Besides, to reduce the area of the array, series fed configuration is used. A 3-elements conformal microstrip array with series fed configuration is designed here as an example. Comparison of the results of the present method and MoM, the validity of our method has been demonstrated, while present conformal microstrip array possesses simple feeding network, small area and high efficiency
