Abstract :
The authors have developed a PCB inspection system employing color image processing and multilighting which switches the lighting according to the type of inspection. Furthermore, they have also confirmed the system´s effectiveness when it is introduced into the mounting process, with respect to accuracy, speed, and reliability. The inspection principle, system configuration, and software for the PCB inspection system are introduced here.<>
