Abstract
The dielectric constant and loss tangent of R/flex 3850 liquid crystalline polymer (LCP) have been estimated from measurements of printed T-resonators and transmission lines in the frequency range 60-95 GHz. The measurements show the dielectric constant to be approximately 3.25 within this frequency range, compared with the specified value of 2.9 at 10 GHz. The loss tangent has been estimated to range between 0.0045 at 75 GHz and 0.0067 at 98.5 GHz.
