Abstract :
This paper has presented a wide-band loop antenna applied a self-complimentary structure. The size of the designed antenna is λ/4.5 in width, λ/4.5 in length × λ/5.6 in height. The designed antenna showed extremely wide-band characteristic which is 0.3~11.2 GHz (37.3:1). The measured radiation patterns according to several frequencies showed the similar radiation characteristics in the xy plane. Therefore, the antenna would be potentially useful in the UAV antenna applications.
