Abstract :
Based on the reliability design theory, the reliability sensitivity technique and the fourth moment technique, reliability-based sensitivity design of coil tube-springs upon information of incomplete probability is extensively discussed and a numerical method for the reliability-based sensitivity design is proposed. The variation regularities of reliability sensitivity are obtained and the effects that design parameters have on the reliability of the coil tube-springs are studied. The method presented in this paper provides reasonable and necessary reliability basis for the design of coil tube-springs.
