Abstract :
The expression for group speed of axial mode propagation in multimode waveguide is received in this paper. This expression was used as a basis for calculations of group speed depending on the wavelength and on waveguide parameters. Moreover, this paper defines the results of calculations for differential group delay, characterising polarized mode dispersion within specific mode
