Abstract :
This panel will celebrate contributions to reliable computing over the past 40 years by the Stanford Center for Reliable Computing (CRC) under the leadership of Prof. Edward J. McCluskey. The panelists will include graduates from CRC from different time periods over the past 40 years along with visitors who spent time at CRC as well as people from industry who have collaborated with CRC. The panelists will discuss different areas of contributions that were made at CRC including some background information on how the contributions came about, anecdotes, and perspective on how the contributions impacted the field. There have been over 60 Ph.D. graduates from CRC who have made contributions on a wide range of interesting projects.
