Abstract :
The authors propose a differential input/output integrator to implement monolithic video-frequency analog filters. The proposed integrator requires no p-n-p transistors and works with a single 5-V supply. The proposed integrator was implemented by a 3- mu m bipolar process and a third-order video-frequency filter was built on the basis of the integrators. A leapfrog filter synthesis method fully utilizing the differential input/output integrators is described. The obtained filter has a low sensitivity to time constants of the integrators in the passband. Experimental results confirm the testability of the integrator and the filter.<>
