Abstract :
Shangri-La County ecological function regionalization and planning is aim at to offer a useful reference for sustainable development strategy in the alpine valley region. The regionalization boundary lines are obtained using graphs superposition by GIS dispose. The ecological function division has been completed using graphics overlap placed method and dominant symbol method. The results shows that, Shangri-La County classified as one first-class-ecological function zone: Shangri-La Jinsha River basin ecological zone; six sub-ecological function zones: biodiversity conservation zone, water conservation zone, water and soil conservation, soil function restoration zone, ecological agriculture building zone, eco-towns building zone, eco-tourism development zone; 40 third-class-ecological function zones. The ecological planning is established according to above, which will proceed and complete stage by stage direction, construction and strategic implementation which are determinate by regionalization.
