Abstract
Some enhancements of the Spectral Domain Analysis (SDA) of a microstrip Y-junction in the polar coordinates are described. A simple and efficient algorithm is devised to numerically evaluate the contribution of the oscillatory tail of the two-dimensional Sommerfeld integral. For the first time, four new vectorized basis functions are proposed. Good agreement is obtained between the simulated results and the measured data for the microstrip Y-junction in the 4-12 GHz range
