Abstract :
The use of image planes is an effective method to reduce the radiated emissions from a printed circuit board (PCB). This paper deals with the influence of image planes on the radiation from a PCB. The configuration of two layers of image planes on both sides of the line source is proposed, and the peak radiated electric field is analyzed with the parameters of the width of the planes and the distance between the line source and the planes. The results are compared with those for the configuration of one layer of image plane on both sides of the line source
