Abstract :
The problem of plane electromagnetic wave diffraction by a multi-element grating which is embedded in a half-space is considered. A system of singular integral equations is obtained by satisfying the necessary boundary conditions. The numerical results describing the resonance characteristics of the cascaded grating embedded in a half-space are presented in the paper
