Abstract :
The harmonic voltage in power grid is enlarged with kinds of dynamic power source and a great deal of active equipments and non-linear loads connected to the power grid. In order to compensate the harmonic current caused by the harmonic voltage with active power filter, the paper analyses the shortcomings of the control based on the sinusoidal power source and proposes a novel close-loop control method for active power filter. A fore-feed control of source harmonic voltage is realized under the condition of high load harmonic impedance by detecting the voltage of the point of common coupling (PCC). The proposed method is very simple and can improve the performance of the traditional close-loop controller. The simulation confirms the better performance of the novel controller
