Abstract :
Recently, several literatures are presented to suppress multi-access interference (MAI) in time hopping impulse radio ultra-wideband (UWB) communications. The conventional Rake receiver doesn´t fit to the environment which has a large numbers of the multi-path in UWB communications. In this paper, we proposed a low complexity adaptive receiver based on the Rake receiver, which has an optimized performance in UWB communications while maintaining a low system complexity. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the proposed algorithm in realistic UWB channel model from IEEE 802.15.3a
