Abstract :
The transmission mode purity in ITER relevant long distance transmission line was measured. Although the transmission power included 95% HE11 at the input of the transmission line, HE11 power was reduced as 91% after transmission through 40 m long transmission line with 6 miter bends and a waveguide switch. This was caused by mode conversion loss in transmission components.
