Abstract :
The similarity measure between fuzzy sets is an important concept to determine the degree of similarity between two fuzzy data sets. In this paper, we propose a new similarity measure between general type-2 fuzzy sets, then we apply this new measure to two examples and finally we use it in clustering type-2 Gaussian fuzzy data sets using using Yang and Shih´s method.
