Abstract
A simple circuit is described to generate m-sequence code up to 255 bit using a PIC microcontroller from Microchip. The circuit developed is found quite easy and useful for laboratory demonstrations. The PIC16C84 microcontroller from the Mid-Range family is used because it is the only one supported with an EEPROM, thus it is easily reprogrammable, even when installed in a system
