Abstract :
We propose an algorithm for linear feedback shift-register (LFSR) synthesis in the case of multiple sequences belonging to a commutative ring with identity. It is also shown how this algorithm can be applied to the decoding of cyclic codes defined over an integer residue ring ζq where q is a power of a prime
