Abstract
Polypropylene films and kraft paper sheets were impregnated with phenyl xylyl ethane (PXE) at various temperatures and for different durations and the electrical properties such as the AC breakdown voltage, the swelling (from capacitive measurements), the dielectric constant and the dissipation factor were determined as a function of the impregnation parameters
